On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Farm Museum will once again host its annual harvest festival. A beautiful tradition that has been held for years in Oldebroek in the Northern Veluwe region. The preparatory work group is pleased that they have once again succeeded in organizing a fun and nostalgic farm day. There's plenty to experience, see, and do, including for children.
How about the spacious pedal tractor track, paddling behind the horses, playing football in the large panna cage, or riding on the children's train? It's wonderful to watch the cows, ponies, and sheep being prepared for the inspection. Who brings the most beautiful animals and wins the prizes? Charming market stalls with all sorts of goods and delicious snacks, including, for those who enjoy, authentic old-fashioned kruidmoes (herb sauce) and bacon pancakes.

Various traditional crafts and fitting music. Traditional threshing with a threshing box and by hand with a threshing rod are at their finest, and hand-reared threshing is also on display. Great bargains are auctioned off during the traditional farm market. Vintage tractors and farm machinery, the blacksmith at work, the pewterer, or the woodcarver. Too many to mention.
All the ingredients are there for a truly enjoyable day out for all ages.
