From May 1, the doors of the new A.Vogel visitor center will be open at the A.Vogel gardens on the Veluwe. This is the gateway to the lush, colorful and largest herb garden in the Netherlands. Where you can really taste, smell and feel nature.
A.Vogel Visitor Center The new visitor center offers an experience where the power of nature takes center stage. By seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting you experience the story of the A.Vogel gardens. Before you even enter the gardens, you already know a lot about the herbs and the processing of the fresh plants that are in our products. You will learn how an Echinacea seed grows into an Echinaforce product and you can watch the garden film. You can then walk outside through our extensive herb fields. You are very welcome in the visitor center from May to October. Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.
A.Vogel gardens Follow the audio tour and learn about the A.Vogel gardens while enjoying nature on the beautiful 13th century Zwaluwenburg estate. Take off your shoes and walk the new barefoot path. Feel the grass, logs and pebbles under your feet with the ultimate swamp enclosure. In between you can enjoy an insect garden and taste the most natural snack bar in the Pluk- en Smultuin. When you return to the A.Vogel visitor center, you can drink a nice cup of herbal tea with fresh herbs that you have just picked yourself.
The A.Vogel gardens can be admired all year round. The herbs and plants that are used in A.Vogel products grow here. These herbs and plants are grown ecologically. So without artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides. About 50,000 kilos of plants are harvested every year. The just-harvested plant is freshly processed within two hours in the factory, about 5 km away. This way the active ingredients remain optimal.
