Experience the beautiful countryside of Elburg walking the Klompenpaden. Just to be clear, you do not walk a Klompenpad on clogs. Clog trails offer a unique combination of walking on restored historic trails and farmland. Walking on a Klompenpad is varied and sometimes "adventurous" when you climb over fences, cross exciting bridges or have to go straight through a herd of cows. Two Klompenpaden start from Elburg they are the "Thornspiccerpad" and "Vrijheijt". The routes are available at VVV Elburg.
Thornspiccerpad - 20 km – Starting point Parking het Schootsveld (Elburg). This walk takes you along streams, via ancient church paths, through meadows, heaths, sand drifts and beautiful country estates.
Vrijheijtpad - 9 km - Starting point at the harbour at number 21 (Elburg). Walking along old defence works, on church paths and through country estates in the beautiful countryside of Elburg.

Vreepad - 16 km - Starting point Boerderijmuseum de Bovenstreek (Oldebroek). This walk takes you through meadows, estates and sand drifts in the beautiful countryside of Oldebroek.
Wiseperpad - 17 km - Starting point Wezep station. Walking across heathland and estate, through woods and peat meadows in the beautiful countryside of Wezep and Hattemerbroek.
